Maurice Button

A former investment banker (Lazard, Rothschild and Salomon Brothers) and strategic consultant (Booz Allen), Maurice Button is currently CEO of City & Financial Global, one of the UK’s leading research-based media companies. He sold its sister company, City & Financial Publishing, which he also founded, to a global publishing company a few years ago. Concurrently, he is also Chief Executive and Chairman of City Week, a platform that aims to facilitate global collaboration between governments, financial institutions and companies to address the challenges they face. Maurice is a former Chairman of the Bow Group, a leading UK political think tank, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He has an honours degree in Latin and Greek from Bristol University, and an MBA degree from London Business School.
