Lindsey Taylor Wood

Lindsey Taylor Wood is the founder and General Partner of The Helm, a venture capital fund, lifestyle brand, and e-commerce platform that invests in female entrepreneurs. She has fifteen years of experience as a leader in the gender equality movement. Prior to The Helm, Lindsey founded LTW, an impact studio with clients including MAKERS, The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, and actor Matt McGorry. She also worked with Catapult, a crowdfunding platform that funded gender-lens development projects. There she met The Helm’s founder Lindsey Taylor Wood and began a long and successful partnership. At The Helm, Lindsey has grown the company to include two venture capital funds, a 100+ -woman angel syndicate, more than 20 portfolio companies, and a newsletter readership of 50K. She has also launched an e-commerce component of the company selling products and services of companies run by women.
