Veronica Squinzi

Veronica Squinzi began working in the Management Control Department of Mapei in 1999 after graduating in Political Science from Milan University, majoring in Corporate Management and Industrial Strategy.

In 1999 she joined Mapei’s Strategic Planning Department as the Global Development Director.

In 2002 she completed her management training after being awarded an MBA by Bocconi University in Milan.

As of June 2019, she and her brother Marco are Mapei’s CEOs.

As well as being in charge of Global Development, she also coordinates the Administration, Finance and Control department for the Board of Directors.

She has been the Vice President of Sassuolo Football Club since the end of 2019.

She has held various positions in Italian and international organisations and institutes. She is a member of Board of Directors of the Bank of Italy based in Milan and Vice President of the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.

She is also a member of various boards of administration including: Assolombarda’s Board of Directors, of which she is Vice President with responsibility for Internationalization and Europe; the Board of the Joint Italian Arab Chamber (JIAC); the Advisory Board of the ‘Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano‘; the Board of Directors of the ISPI (Institute for International Political Studies); the Board of Directors of the Sodalitas Foundation; She is also a member of the Board, Steering Committee and Management Committee of the E4 Impact Foundation. She is Italian Member of the Trilateral Commission.
