Tom Hudson was educated at Eton College, studied History at Bristol University, converted to Law at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice, after which he trained and qualified with Linklaters before going in house with the likes of Credit Suisse and DP World.
Tom has advised on deals for companies and projects in the UAE worth more than $20bn over the last 20 years, including the IPO of DP World, the bond issues for TDIC, Dubai Holding, Nakheel, DAMAC etc.
Tom has advised more than 50 companies on their regional expansion in the last 7 years. They include Tesla, Joby Aviation, Boom Supersonic, Planet Labs, Insilico, Freshtohome, Alesca Life, and others.
In 2021, he interviewed 50 people who have all been part of his journey and represent the extraordinary growth story of the UAE in the last 50 years, writing a book called Exponential Emirates, which became an Amazon Bestseller in the UAE.
