Saeed Al Awar

Saeed Al Awar is a Partner at Rothschild & Co. He is the Head of Middle East for Rothschild & Co and oversees all of Rothschild & Co’s business in the region. Saeed was formerly a lawyer at Linklaters where he trained and worked with them across UK and the Middle East region. Saeed joined Rothschild & Co in 2014. His experience spans over more than 18 years and across M&A, equity capital markets and debt advisory/restructurings in both regional and international markets. He has advised on many landmark strategic and financial matters, advising on public takeovers and private acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions, including initial public offerings. His deal experience includes acting on transactions involving some of the region’s most iconic companies, Americana, ADQ, PIF, DP World, ADNOC, Mubadala, Emaar and TAQA. His advisory mandates cover a multitude of sectors, from oil and gas, infrastructure, consumer, retail, technology and healthcare to financial services and advising on transformational deals for a variety of government owned enterprises.

Saeed is also an independent board member of Xcube LLC (Dubai Government owned market maker for DFM) and ADC SPAC (ADX Listed – first listed SPAC in the region. Sponsored by ADQ and Chimera). Saeed also Board member of Spinneys, and a member of the Dubai International Chamber Board.
