Ricardo Hausmann is a professor of International Political Economy at Harvard Kennedy School and the founder and director of Harvard’s Growth Lab. His contributions to the field of development have earned him a significant impact, including the creation of the Growth Diagnostics and Economic Complexity methodologies. His research has been widely cited and published in prestigious journals and covered by major media outlets. Hausmann has served as principal investigator for over 50 research initiatives in nearly 30 countries and has held key positions in government and development organizations. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University.
