Raphael Thuin

Raphael Thuin brings two decades of expertise in capital markets and investment strategy to his role as Head of Capital Markets Strategies at Tikehau Capital, a position he assumed in 2020. In this role, Raphael spearheads the development and execution of the firm’s listed equity and fixed income strategies across Europe, the US and Asia, leveraging his wealth of experience and expertise to drive innovation, create value for investors and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success in the global investment landscape. He is also a member of both the management and business executive committees at Tikehau Capital.

Prior to joining Tikehau Capital, Raphael held the position of Head of Fixed Income at TOBAM in Paris from 2014 to 2020. During his tenure, he led the firm’s portfolio management and business development for fixed income and the implementation of key strategic initiatives. Under his leadership, the fixed income division experienced significant expansion and success in navigating complex market conditions.

He started his career in 2005 as a portfolio manager for Topaz Fund in New York, where he specialised in arbitrage and derivative strategies, honing his skills in navigating dynamic and competitive markets. In 2008, Raphael transitioned to Société Générale’s investment bank in New York, where he helped manage the firm’s proprietary exposure in capital markets, further solidifying his expertise in risk management and investment strategy.
