Prof. Federico Pippo

SDA Bocconi

Federico Pippo is the Director of the Master in Corporate Finance (MCF) at SDA Bocconi School of Management. At SDA Bocconi, he also serves as a Senior Lecturer in Corporate Finance, where he teaches Corporate Valuation, ESG, and M&A in the Master in Business Administration, the Master in Fashion, Experience and Design, and the Master in Corporate Finance. He is also the Learning Director of the Corporate Master in International Management (Ferrero MIM) at SDA Bocconi.

Federico has conducted and coordinated research and training projects with a primary focus on topics such as financial statement analysis, investment analysis and valuation process, strategic planning, business valuation, and corporate extraordinary operations for both Italian and international companies. Additionally, he is a Contract Professor of Corporate Finance at Bocconi University.

His current research activities are centered around Sustainable Finance, particularly focusing on the analysis of price determinants of green bonds and the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into business valuation methodologies. Federico has authored essays and articles on these topics, and his works have been published in journals such as the Journal of Sustainable Finance and Investments, Finance Research Letters, Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change, Economia & Management, the SDA Leading Management series, and The Case Centre.

Federico is a Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor and provides consultancy services to both industrial companies and banks/financial intermediaries, where he also serves on governance bodies. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universitร  Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from SDA Bocconi School of Management, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA Full Time) also from SDA Bocconi.
