Paulina holds a master’s degree in international development from the London School of Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from Oxford University. In the early days of her career, Paulina pursued public policy reform on the women, peace and security agenda while working at the United Nations in New York, Geneva, and for Her Majestyโs Government in London. Transitioning to corporate life, Paulina became a public affairs consultant for private clients and the UK’s financial regulator. Paulina simultaneous held several governance positions for one of Britainโs oldest political think tanks during this time.
After 10 years in a number of roles in and around politics, Paulina embarked on a career change. She completed further higher education in finance before delving into the world of private equity markets as an Investor Relations Director for Envercapital, an impact driven global investment firm. In 2021 Paulina decided to apply her overseas experience to managing two of her familyโs enterprises in Eastern Europe. Paulina serves as a board director for a mid-sized rubber manufacturing firm, Vegum, and acted as Board Chairman for IDC Holding, a leading regional confectionary manufacturer. In just 4 years, Paulina oversaw a full-scale strategic portfolio reorganisation of her familyโs core business, tripled the EBITDA and managed a successful company exit. Paulina is currently refocusing her efforts towards asset management as she sets up her family office. As a successful business leader and a YPO member, Paulina has been featured in Forbes Slovakia and is a frequent guest speaker at industry events.
