Maurizio Dallocchio is Bocconi University School of Management Past Dean and Bocconi University Full Professor of Corporate Finance. He studied at LBS – London Business School and New York University โ Stern School of Business where he was also visiting scholar. Maurizio taught and researched around the world (CEIBS Shanghai, IMD Lausanne, Stockholm School of Economics, London Business School just to mention a few). Licensed Public Accountant and Auditor, he concentrates his research mainly in Corporate Finance and particularly in Corporate Valuation, Restructuring and Mergers & Acquisitions. He is the author of more than 100 publications; amongst them, he is co-author of Corporate Finance (Wiley & Sons 5th ed., 2018), one of the most popular textbooks in its field worldwide. He was chairman of the Audit Committee of the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Maurizio took part into a number of privatizations, IPOs, M&As. He is chair or member of the governance bodies of numerous entities both private and public.
As a civil servant he was chairperson or had pivotal governance roles in the cities of Milan and Monza transportation company and in the city of Milan energy company. Founder of a consultancy boutique (DGPA & Co) employing around 30 professionals after more than 30 successful years, He is an active supporter of not for profit organizations. Maurizio is proud finisher of 24 New York City Marathons in a row.
