Massimo Gianolli

CEO General Finance

In 1988, Massimo Gianolli provided for the restructuring of Prestoleasing Spa, now Generalfinance S.p.A., founded by his father Armando. This was the beginning of a very long period during which he was responsible, as Managing Director, of converting the financial activity from leasing and consumer lending to factoring for distressed companies.
Starting in 2005, he dedicated himself to launching a totally innovative wine-hotel project: La Collina dei Ciliegi e Ca’ del Moro Wine Retreat, which opened in 2018.
In 2015 he founds GGH – Gruppo General Holding Srl and launches the project to list Generalfinance on the AIM Italia market, which he renounces at the beginning of 2016 due to the negative market trend.
In 2020 he founded Advini Italia Spa, a joint venture with the French group AdVini Sa. A strategic partnership that is articulated along several axes: the positioning of the fine wines of La Collina dei Ciliegi in the horeca channels in more than one hundred countries, the acquisition of Italian wine-growing companies, and finally, wine tourism, which networks Ca’ del Moro Wine Retreat with AdVini’s experiential offer, represented by six resorts and five restaurants immersed in the heart of the vineyards of France and South Africa.
On 29 June 2022, the ringing of the bell marks the start of trading of Generalfinance’s shares on the Euronext Milan market, STAR segment. The debut on Euronext STAR Milan represents for its entrepreneurial journey the achievement of a dream and for Generalfinance the addition of a fundamental step in the growth process that the company has undertaken since its inception and that arrives precisely at the fortieth year since its foundation.
On September 19, 2022, Meregalli Giuseppe Spa, the holding company of the Meregalli Group, enters the capital of Advini Italia Spa, which thus changes its name to AMC Vini Spa (Advini – Meregalli – Collina). The partnership built with the Advini Group is strengthened and expanded with the entry into its capital of the leader in the distribution of high-end wines in Italy, the Meregalli Group.
