Graduated in Economics from CATรLICA-LISBON, School of Business & Economics, with specialization in Macroeconomics, Economic Policy and International Economy.
Began his professional career, in 2005, at PwC (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) as an Audit Assistant and was Account Manager at the digital media agency FullSix Portugal, from 2006 to 2007.
Between 2008 and 2012, performed functions as Political and Economic Advisor to the Portuguese Minister of Internal Affairs in both 17th and 18th Constitutional Governments.
Later joined Michael Page International as responsible for Headhunting in the Banking and Insurance areas and returned, in 2013, to PwC, to become Business Development & Institutional Relations Executive Manager in Portugal, Angola and Cape Verde, developing several consultancy projects for entities and institutions in internationalization strategies and advice to Governments of Portuguese- speaking Countries on public policies of national sovereignty.
In 2018 and until 2022 became Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (AICEP Portugal Global), having also been responsible for monitoring economic and commercial cooperation between Member States of the community of Portuguese speaking countries (CPLP).
Has been Executive Board Member of AICEP since September 2022.
