LUCIA LEONESSI

Born in Arezzo, graduated in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Siena, Lucia Leonessi has been a member of the Order of Journalists, Professional Register, since 1991. In 2010, after her Ph.D. in Criminology, she began working as a public official for the Regional Council of Lombardy, and in 2013 she founded Studio Parker dedicated to environmental and corporate issues, located in Milan, Lugano, and Arezzo.
In 2003-2004 she worked at the Environment and Energy Committee of the European Parliament. Today Lucia Leonessi is the Director General of Confindustria Cisambiente since she founded it with 11 environmental entrepreneurs in 2016.
Since 2016 she has also been a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Exhibition Ecomondo and an active member of Confitarma’s Technical Groups.
Since 2020 she has been a Board Member of Previambiente and in the Board of Confindustria Energia, and since 2021 she has been Member of the National Steering Committee of UNI (Ente Italiano di Normazione).
