Lieve Mostrey

Lieve Mostrey has been the CEO of Euroclear Group since January 2017. Before her appointment as CEO, Mostrey served as the Executive Director and Chief Technology and Services Officer of the Euroclear group and as an Executive Director of the Board. She previously worked at BNP Paribas Fortis in Brussels, where she was responsible for IT technology, operations, property and purchasing. She began her career in 1983 in the IT department of Generale Bank in Brussels. Mostrey holds a degree in civil engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a post-graduate degree in economics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She is an active member of various initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and growth in the financial sector and is a member of the General Council of the Vlerick Business School in Belgium.
