Joe Dowling

Joe Dowling is the Global Head of BAAM at Blackstone, where he leads all investment activities. Prior to joining Blackstone in 2021, he served as the CEO of Brown University’s endowment, CIO from 2013 to 2018, and interim CFO from 2019 to 2020. Before joining Brown University, Joe was the founder and CEO of Narragansett Asset Management, where he managed funds for institutions, pension funds, and endowments. He has also worked for First Boston and Tudor Investments. He holds a B.A. from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
