Jan de Jonge is a retired football striker and current manager of De Treffers. During his playing career, he played for three clubs in the Netherlands: FC Groningen, SC Heerenveen, and FC Emmen. After retiring from playing, Jan de Jonge pursued a managerial career. He started as the manager of FC Emmen and then moved on to manage De Graafschap. He also served as an assistant and interim manager of Dutch Eredivisie club SC Heerenveen after the dismissal of Trond Sollied during the early weeks of the 2009-10 season. In June 2013, he was appointed by Heracles.
