Issam Abousleiman

Issam Abousleiman has been the Country Director for the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region since 2018. He joined the World Bank in 1989 and has held various positions throughout the institution. He has regional expertise in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Abousleiman holds an MBA in finance and investment from George Washington University, an MBA in management from the American University of Beirut, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He also graduated from the Harvard University Executive Management program.
