Hussain Sajwani

Hussain Sajwani is the founder of the global property development company, DAMAC Properties, and the investment arm, The DICO Group. He is a self-made billionaire who has been recognized as a powerful Arab and a pioneer of the property market expansion in Dubai. In the mid-90s, he built hotels to accommodate the growing influx of people in the emirate, and in 2002 he established DAMAC Properties which has grown to become one of the largest property development companies in the Middle East. The company has several projects in key cities around the world and is publicly-listed on the Dubai Financial Market. The DICO Group invests in a variety of sectors including luxury fashion, real estate, hospitality, and manufacturing, through private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and holdings in publicly traded companies.
