Ruqayya Alblooshi is the Executive Director for International Relations and Government Knowledge Exchange at the Prime Minister’s Office of the United Arab Emirates, Ruqayya is responsible for building strategic partnerships between the UAE’s government bodies and international organizations such as the World Economic Forum, UN, OECD, WTO, IMF, WIPO, and the African Union. Her skills in collaboration and relationship building have strengthened these partnerships through joint programs, agreements, and representations across all platforms.
Ruqayya contributed to the UAE’s efforts to advance sustainable development, including launching the first Circular Economy policy and the National Circular Economy council in the UAE. She has also managed the UAE’s official delegation’s participation at the Davos conference and the signing of high-level agreements between the Forum and the UAE, further enhancing the country’s global presence and influence.
Ruqayya holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Harvard University. She serves as Vice President at the board of directors at Harvard Club of the UAE.
