H.E. Rania Al-Mashat

H.E. Rania Al-Mashat is the current Minister of International Cooperation for Egypt. Prior to this appointment, she was the first woman to serve as Egypt’s Minister of Tourism between January 2018 and December 2019. Al-Mashat has a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and has specialized in central banking and monetary policy. She previously served as an Adviser to the Chief Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC.
