H.E. Omar Al Olama

H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama is the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications in the United Arab Emirates. He was appointed to this position in July 2020. Prior to his appointment as Minister of State, Al Olama served as Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence from October 2017. Al Olama has also worked in several sectors including banking, telecommunications, private enterprises and government. He participated in developing the UAE Centennial 2071 strategy and was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Future of Digital Economy and Society Initiative.
