A Harvard and ESCP graduate, Frédéric Genta has 20 years of experience at the intersection of finance, technology, and public policy.
Frédéric served seven years in the Government of Monaco, spearheading the Principality’s economic and digital transformation. As Secretary of Attractiveness, Development, and Digital Transformation, he led Monaco’s modernization—positioning it as a global leader in finance and UHNW wealth management. Under H.S.H. Prince Albert II’s patronage, he launched “Extended Monaco”, a nationwide innovation initiative spanning e-education, smart cities, digital identity, and a sovereign cloud. He also played a key role in Monaco’s post-COVID economic recovery, driving digitalization and sovereign fund investments.
Frédéric’s business expertise spans finance, big tech, and investment. At Google, he was Head of Retail EMEA, overseeing a €400M business. Before that he launched and developed Amazon’s sports and fashion division in France and held executive roles at Orange, leading operations in multiple countries. His career began in investment banking at Société Générale and Lehman Brothers.
In his career, Frédéric held key board and advisory positions, including Monacair, Monaco Digital, Firmfunding, Nordstar investment fund and ReOcean Fund. He also chaired different Monaco public agencies. A thought leader in AI, finance, and digital transformation, he is a guest professor at ESCP.
