H.E. Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi is the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and SMEs in the United Arab Emirates. He is a highly experienced and respected leader in the UAE, having held a number of senior positions in the government and private sector.
Dr Al Falasi has a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Wollongong in Australia, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Sharjah.
Dr Al Falasi has held a number of senior positions in the UAE government, including Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economic Development, and Director General of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. He has also held a number of senior positions in the private sector, including CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre, CEO of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, and CEO of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone.
Dr Al Falasi is a strong advocate for the development of the UAE’s SME sector, and has been instrumental in the development of the UAE’s SME strategy. He is also a strong advocate for the development of the UAE’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, and has been instrumental in the development of the UAE’s National Entrepreneurship Strategy.
