Northern Trust has been present in the MENA for more than 30 years, and currently administers assets under management of $97bn across different segments. George is responsible for the Global Family and Private Investment office business at Northern Trust having covered the region for 10 years.
His 20 years of experience spans the financial services sector having advised regulators and financial institutions covering funds, structuring, private equity, alternative products and digital transformation across private offices, banks, and asset owners including sovereign wealth and pension funds.
Prior to joining Northern Trust George led the MENA Wealth & Asset Management practice at Ernst Young based in the UAE. Focussed primarily on banking, asset and investment management as an industry practitioner George has held senior leadership roles at public and private institutions.
George holds a BSc (Hons) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance and regular conference participator and contributor to periodicals.
