Gabriel is a leader in synthetic biology and AI and is dedicated to translating scientific advancements into solutions for global challenges. Currently, he is leading a stealth-mode biotechnology venture focused on a groundbreaking technology that has been published in Nature, featured in the New York Times, NASDAQ, and recently led to the US Presidential Award. As a two-time founder and Y Combinator alum, he previously directed technical affairs at AIChE on Wall Street, securing over $100M in grants from NSF, DOE, NIH, and DOD. He played a key role in launching several scientific and business organizations, including the Regenerative Engineering Society, CRISPR Technologies, and Stem Cell Engineering. Educated at UC Berkeley (Postdoc) and UBC (PhD), he has received numerous awards for his contributions to science and technology.
