Dana Kamali stands as a prominent international figure, the first Emirati to be recognized globally as the “Most Impactful CSR Leaders” and as a leader by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Center of Leadership Development.
As the Chief Business Officer involved in the establishment of “Majra” National CSR Fund, the federal arm dedicated to governing and advancing sustainability and social responsibility throughout the UAE, Dana oversees the UAE’s agenda of sustainable impact, launching and delivering over 70 initiatives and programs.
Her role also includes developing strategies, frameworks and policies, fostering strategic partnerships, launching transformational projects in education, environment, community, health, technology, and arts, culture and heritage sectors. and driving awareness through influential communication channels.
She began her career at HSBC Bank MENA & Turkey, with a rich background in co-designing and executing global award-winning programs.
Dana has an extensive network with government entities, the private sector, social enterprises, NGOs and charities. Dana engages in global conferences, events, and provides consultation to diverse sectors. Prominent ones include the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 28), Investopia and World CSR Congress.
Because of her expertise, Dana is the Strategy and Projects Committee Board Secretary chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, was a member High-level Advisory Committee for CSR by the Ministry of Economy, and a member of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Women Empowerment Taskforce and Inclusivity Taskforce on supporting the role of women and people of determination in the workforce.
Dana graduated with honours from The American University in Dubai with a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management, holds several social responsibility certifications, and is a Certified Citizen Science Leader. She also volunteered over 800 hours to support the community.
