Dana Eissa Kamali is Chief Business Officer at “Majra” National CSR Fund, involved in the establishment of the federal arm dedicated to governing and advancing sustainability throughout the UAE. Her role encompasses overseeing the UAE’s agenda of sustainable impact, delivering national priority projects, formulating strategies, frameworks and policies, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving awareness through influential communication channels.
With over 12 years of invaluable experience in Sustainability, CSR, and community engagement, Dana stands as a prominent national figure, globally acknowledged as the first UAE National to be honoured among the “Top 100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders” worldwide.
Dana engages in conferences, summits, and speaking events, moderating global panels, and providing consultation to diverse sectors.
She began her career at HSBC Bank MENA & Turkey, with a rich background in co-designing and executing award-winning programs in education, environment, community, and health sectors on international, regional, and local scales. Collaborating with a broad network of strategic partners, NGOs, and charities, she manages stakeholder relations while developing policies, initiatives and campaigns aimed at embedding sustainability.
Because of her expertise, Dana was selected to be part of the High-level Advisory committee for CSR by the Ministry of Economy and a member of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry taskforces on supporting the role of women in the workforce; and employing people with determination in the workplace and helping them to become active members of the community.
Dana graduated with honours from The American University in Dubai with a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management, holds several social responsibility certifications, and is a Certified Citizen Science Leader. She also volunteered over 800 hours to support the community.
