Dan Benton is a renowned technology investor who manages Benton Capital Management. He previously founded Andor Capital Management and served as its CEO until its closure in 2016. He has a BA in Mathematics from Colgate University and an MBA from Harvard University. Benton began his career at Goldman Sachs and was a top-ranked computer industry analyst on Wall Street from 1988-1993. He later served as President of Pequot Capital Management, where hedge fund assets grew from $300m to $15b during his tenure. Benton serves on the board of several organizations, including Colgate University where he is the largest benefactor in school history, and is a past trustee of several organizations, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Khan Academy.
