Claudia Parzani

Chairwoman of Borsa Italiana

Business lawyer, specialized in corporate matters and corporate governance, strategy and sustainability, Claudia Parzani is Chair of the Italian Stock Exchange, a non-executive director at Stellantis N.V. and Senior Advisor at the global law firm Linklaters, where she was a partner for many years and covered key managerial roles at a global level. She gained experience working with Italian and international law firms, assisting Italian and international banks and corporates in the context of the most complex extraordinary transactions.

In the past she was Chair of Allianz S.p.A., served as an external member of the Board of Directors of the higher education institution Politecnico di Milano and covered the role of non-executive director for listed and not listed companies.

Always extremely passionate about inclusion and social matters, Claudia is a member of the advisory board of UNHCR Italy, sits in the Comitato Scientificoof Parks โ€“ Liberi e Uguali and is the Chair of the Strategic Council of Fondazione Italia per il Dono. She is the founder of โ€œBreakfast@Linklatersโ€, a large network of female executives, and is the ambassador in Italy for the Inspiring Girls campaign to promote inclusion and fight stereotypes. She was Chair of Valore D and, together with Valore D and other partners, she structured and launched โ€œIn The Boardroomโ€, preparing women to step into board positions.

Claudia is also Deputy Chair of the Italian group of the Trilateral Commission and the Chair of the Scientific Committee of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano. She is also a member of some of the most influential national and international think tanks and of some of the main associations of the Italian business community. She is often a speaker in conferences and roundtables on topics such as corporate governance, ESG, economy and finance, leadership, future scenarios, innovation, world of work, D&I, talent, young people and generations.

She is the author of articles and publications and has contributed to various books. Together with Francesca Isola she co-authored โ€œMeravigliose Tour guidato allโ€™interno di noi stesseโ€ (Il Sole 24 Ore, 2020) dedicated to gender issues and female talent and with Sandro Catani she co-authored โ€œSi vince solo insiemeโ€ (Garzanti, 2022), on the tools necessary to face future challenges in the world of work. More recently, she published โ€œLa rivoluzione degli outsiderโ€ (Rizzoli, 2024), on the talent of women and young people, the importance of including genders and all generations and changes in leadership models.

She sits in many and important juries and has won multiple awards for her career and her continuous social commitment. Ranked as โ€œEminent Practitionerโ€ by Chambers & Partners, โ€œHighly Regardedโ€ and โ€œWoman Leaderโ€ by IFLR 1000 and included in the Legal500 โ€œHall of Fameโ€, she was named in the global HERoes Women Role Model List for eighth year in a row.
