Cinzia Chiriac is Head of ESG Regulatory Affairs at Bloomberg, where she is responsible for leading the global regulatory strategy for sustainable finance policy and regulatory initiatives impacting Bloomberg and its clients. She particularly focuses on regulations pertaining to taxonomy development (such as EU, UK, Singapore taxonomies); climate and sustainability reporting, including the EU’S Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, TCFD, and IFRS S1 and S2; as well as prudential requirements around climate risk management. Cinzia also engages in a number of policy working groups, including the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) Task Force on Sustainable Finance, Singapore’s Green Finance Industry Taskforce (GFIT), and the Future of Sustainable Data Alliance (FoSDA) Policy Working Group.
She holds a Masters degree in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware.
