Azamat Kozhanov

Azamat Kozhanov is the Managing Director of Kazakh Invest, the national investment promotion agency of Kazakhstan. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the country’s investment promotion strategy, as well as the attraction of foreign direct investment into Kazakhstan.

Azamat has extensive experience in the field of investment promotion and has held various positions in the public and private sectors. He has worked in the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, and the National Agency for Export and Investment “KAZNEX INVEST”.

Azamat holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Kazakh-British Technical University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Kazakh National University. He is fluent in English, Russian, and Kazakh.
