Visionary and highly accomplished hospitality entrepreneur, Antonio Gonzalez is the co-founder of Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) and leads the company as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. With an expansive knowledge of global hospitality markets, Antonio has spent the last 12 years successfully creating and expanding SHGโs impressive portfolio of brands around the world.
SHG was founded in 2011 to create exceptional hospitality exeriences worldwide, from hotels and beach clubs to restaurants and nightlife venues. SHG began with just an idea; to bring people together to celebrate life by providing top-quality experiences, driven by a deep understanding of the market, a commitment to excellence, and the passion to succeed.
A Spanish national, Antonio has over 25 years of experience; he spent the first nine years of his career working in Media, Advertising, FMCG & Healthcare, both in marketing and general management roles. In 2009, he set up Kalys Management, a management investment firm focused on Middle East hospitality projects which
ultimately evolved into SHG in 2011.
Antonio oversees all of SHGโs extensive operations and resources. He plays a key role in mapping out and driving forward the strategic plans to bolster its portfolio of businesses and further cement SHGโs presence as one of the worldโs leading lifestyle hospitality companies.
Under Antonioโs leadership, SHG is present in 16 countries, across Europe, Middle East and Asia. The company has demonstrated a proven track record of delivering an unrivalled combination of high-quality offerings blended with a unique service- focused culture that consistently creates and delivers outstanding experiences.
