Anoosheh Kalantari is the Founding Partner and Managing Director of Crimson Founders, a platform dedicated to supporting startups with founders affiliated with MIT and Harvard by connecting them with a global network of investors, partners, and industry leaders. Crimson Founders provides tailored opportunities through curated demo sessions, investment readiness initiatives, and strategic collaborations, helping startups access funding and scale effectively in competitive markets. Anoosheh is also an angel investor, supporting early-stage ventures across diverse industries.
In addition to her work with Crimson Founders, Anoosheh serves as the Chief Operating Officer and a board member at Six Star Bulk Bag, a leading packaging manufacturing company in the Middle East. Under her leadership, the company significantly expanded its production capacity and established itself as the market leader in the region. She played a key role in co-founding one of the largest manufacturing industry organizations in the region and holds an investment position in Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Technologies, advancing clean energy solutions in the UAE.
Anoosheh has played an integral role in various MIT initiatives, organizing and leading high-impact events within the MIT community. She is one of the founders and organizers of The Annual MIT Female Founders Pitch Competition in New York City. Her efforts have also included organizing distinguished speaker events at MIT featuring influential figures such as Dr. Jordan Peterson, General David Petraeus, and Dr. Andrew Lo.
Anoosheh holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a BASc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, and an AAS and BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design.
