In 1984 Alfonso Dolce began, alongside his brother Domenico and Stefano Gabbana, his professional path in Dolce&Gabbana, founded the same year, holding the position of Director of Dolce Saverio S.p.A. (at that time licensee of the production of the Dolce&Gabbana collections), later Dolce&Gabbana Industria (production leader) and today a reality incorporated into the Dolce&Gabbana Group.
After three years of commuting between Sicily and Northern Italy, in 1987 Alfonso Dolce moved permanently to Lombardy, between Legnano and Milan, to closely follow the development of the production and the organizational activities of the newly founded Dolce&Gabbana. Over the years, he held roles of primary responsibility in the Group’s companies, eventually becoming its CEO. Day after day, Alfonso Dolce has enriched his professional experience without ever losing sight of the value of human capital and interpersonal relationships, and the emotional aspect linked to each decision.
Alfonso Dolce has contributed to the structural growth of the Dolce&Gabbana Group, but also to the development in product sectors other than clothing with the aim of diversifying and bringing the brand to be a lifestyle reality thanks to collaborations with Italian companies of excellence and enhancing the territorial districts, the production chain, the art of beautiful and well-made Italian products. In addition to his passion and dedication to work, Alfonso Dolce is committed to his family, particularly to his four children, and in his free time to sports, conviviality and travel.
