Alessandro Spada

Alessandro Spada is an entrepreneur in the manufacturing sector. Since May 2020 he has been appointed President of Assolombarda, the largest and most important territorial association of the Confindustria system, representing almost 7000 companies and 422.000 workers in the area of Milan, Monza e Brianza, Lodi and Pavia. He has also been Chairman of Fondazione Assolombarda.

He is Corporate Advisor of Chart Industries, Inc., he is Vice President and board member of VRV Group (IMB – Industrie Meccaniche di Bagnolo S.r.l., FEMA Srl., VRV India Cryogenic Equipment), an Italian multinational corporation in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art pressure equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

Since November 2018 he has been CEO of SAFE INVESTMENT HOLDING S.r.l, Board member of NB Aurora and Bracco S.p.A. Since 2005 he has been covering different institutional positions in Assolombarda. At present he is member of the Executive Council of Confindustria and of the Board of Directors of Confindustria Lombardia. He is also board member of the General Council and Executive Commette of Fondazione Fiera and member of the General Council of Aspen Institute Italia and of The Italian Institute for International Political Studies/ISPI.
