Alberto Banfi

Professor of Economics of the Financial Intermediaries at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

Alberto Banfi is full professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan where he teaches “Banking” and “Markets and Financial Instruments”.
He is Director of the Master in Corporate Advisory e Intercultural Resources (Carint) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
He is member of the Scientific Committee of the “Centro di Ricerca sul Credito Cooperativo” research centre (CRCC).
He authored and co-authored numerous publications on bank management, structure and organization of financial markets, characteristics of financial instruments, and role of central banks, among others.
He acts as consultant for leading research institutes, banks and financial institutions
He has served on Boards of Directors and Boards of Statutory Auditors of several banks and financial intermediaries in Italy
He is currently member of the Board of Directors of Banca Credinvest SA (Switzerland) and Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Assietta Private Equity Sgr.
