Ahmed Al Naqbi

Ahmed Al Naqbi is the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Development Bank (EDB). He was appointed to this role in May 2021. Al Naqbi has a long history in banking, having worked for various financial institutions prior to joining EDB. He has also held positions at the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Al Naqbi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Sharjah and a Master’s degree in International Banking from Cass Business School, London.
