Adeeb Ahamed

Adeeb Ahamed is the Managing Director of LuLu Financial Holdings, a global financial services conglomerate having a presence in 10 countries across the Middle East, Indian sub-continent, and APAC regions. The holding company operates a network of over 275 branches, apart from diverse digital solutions serving the cross-border payments, foreign currency exchange and banknotes segments.
A distinguished entrepreneur and thought leader, he holds several positions of significance in prestigious global institutions. He is a Board Member of the South Asia Regional Strategy Group of the World Economic Forum, a Global Advisory Board Member of the World Tourism Forum Lucerne, Switzerland, an Advisor to the Board of Al Maryah Community Bank, UAE, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Exchange and Remittance Group, UAE, Chair of FICCI India-Middle East Regional Council for 2023, Founding Member of UAE India Business Council – UAE chapter, and an Independent Member of the Emirates Board of Directors for Overseas Investors, UAE, among others.
He is the recipient of several illustrious awards, notable of which include Forbes Top Indian Business Leaders in the Middle East, Qadat Al Tagheer Award for Excellence in Financial Sector, ABLF Outstanding Business Achiever Award, and Businessman of the Year by State Forum of Bankers Clubs (Kerala).
Adeeb holds an MBA in International Management from the prestigious Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BBA from Les Roches, Switzerland.
