Abdulfattah Sharaf

Abdulfattah Sharaf is currently Group General Manager and Chief Executive Officer for the United Arab Emirates at HSBC Bank Middle East Limited. In addition, he serves as the Head of International, covering Bahrain, Kuwait, and Algeria. Sharaf also sits on the boards of several institutions, including HSBC Bank Oman S.A.O.G., HSBC Private Banking Holdings (Suisse) SA, and HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA.
Prior to his current role, Sharaf held the position of CEO Personal Financial Services, Middle East and North Africa. He also served on the board of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited, HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited, and Emirates Telecommunication Company (Etisalat). Before joining HSBC, Sharaf was the Chief Executive Officer of NBD Securities, a subsidiary of Emirates NBD.
Sharaf is an active member of several organizations, including the Higher Board of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the Noor Dubai Foundation, and the Emirates Golf Federation. He also serves as a member of the Mastercard MEA Advisory Board.
