Following the inaugural edition of Investopia on March 28, 2022, at the Expo 2020 Dubai, “Investopia: The Future of Investment in Sports” was an exclusive event that brought together key decision makers from the world of football and the world’s top sports investors with the mission of building partnerships that would shape the future economy of sport.

“We were proud to start a discussion to drive global investment, accelerate innovation, and contribute to the growth of future generations. We wanted to create a dynamic business ecosystem where today’s economies grow and tomorrow’s are born. We came together to mark a new beginning,” said H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Ministry of Economy.

Investopia: The Future of Investment in Sports was an exclusive gala followed by a day of curated, closed-door, and peer-to-peer dialogues and networking within the context of the World Corporate Summit and the FIFA World Cup 2022. The World Corporate Summit served as a platform for impact with an overarching theme of sport that brought together key business leaders at the crossroads of international business for discussions and collaborations on changing industry dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.
