Investopia Europe in its 2nd edition will revolve around 3 key pillars:
The United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom enjoy strong connections, close collaboration, and tight investment partnerships that go back several decades. Building on that relationship, the Ministry of Economy of the UAE and HM Treasury of the UK have jointly organized a special edition of Investopia Global Talks that took place on the 31 January 2024, hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London Corporation.
The one-day event themed ‘UAE-UK Financial Services: Partnering for the Future’ followed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Financial Services cooperation, between HM Treasury of the United Kingdom and the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, to promote collaboration and bilateral dialogues on financial services.
The London version of Investopia Global Talks convened key stakeholders from the financial markets in both countries to support several ongoing bilateral dialogues and explain what they mean to sustainable growth of the public and private sectors in both economies.
This Investopia Global Talk was an opportunity for business owners, investors, and innovators to connect and explore investment opportunities and ways of shaping the future of the financial services sector in the 21st century’s new economy.

Investopia was launched in 2021 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and H.E. Abdullah Bin Touq AlMarri, UAE Minister of Economy. In its 2nd edition in March 2023, Investopia hosted more than 2,500 participants from ~60 different countries and brought more than 300 C-suite executives, 180 founders and co-founder, and financial institutions representing more than $500 billion in assets under management together in a future-focused business environment. This comes in addition to its Global Talks series, which it has hosted in New York, Geneva, New Delhi, Mumbai, Cairo, Rabat, and Havana.

Investopia Global Talks is a series of global events launched by Investopia in 2021 following the success of its inaugural session. These talks, hosted in different countries and cities, bring together leaders, investors, and senior business executives to share their latest thinking on the investment and business opportunities in specific geographies and sectors in the new economy.
Since the inception of its Global Talks series, Investopia has hosted most than 10 events in various cities including New York, Geneva, Milan, New Delhi, Mumbai, Cairo, Rabat, Havana and others.
This edition of Investopia’s Global Talks hosted in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) under the theme “Accelerating UAE – India Investment”, brought together senior executives representing major companies in India and the UAE to discuss potential areas of collaboration and investment opportunities in various sectors in the two countries.
In our 2nd edition, held on the 2nd and 3rd of March, 2023, Investopia welcomed over 2,500 participants from approximately 60 countries. The event featured more than 300 C-suite executives, 180 founders and co-founders, and financial institutions representing over $500 billion in assets under management, all converging in a future-focused business environment. Alongside our main events, Investopia’s Global Talks series has taken place in cities such as New York, Geneva, New Delhi, Mumbai, Cairo, Rabat, and Havana.
Following our tremendous success, we were excited to announce Investopia Europe, our first satellite event in Europe. In partnership with EFG Consulting, we hosted this event on the 19th of May, 2023 in Milan. Investopia Europe brought together around 200 leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and globally connected experts to share their insights on investment and business opportunities set to shape the global economy across three key areas.

Following the inaugural edition of Investopia on March 28, 2022, at the Expo 2020 Dubai, “Investopia: The Future of Investment in Sports” was an exclusive event that brought together key decision makers from the world of football and the world’s top sports investors with the mission of building partnerships that would shape the future economy of sport.

Investopia: The Future of Investment in Sports was an exclusive gala followed by a day of curated, closed-door, and peer-to-peer dialogues and networking within the context of the World Corporate Summit and the FIFA World Cup 2022. The World Corporate Summit served as a platform for impact with an overarching theme of sport that brought together key business leaders at the crossroads of international business for discussions and collaborations on changing industry dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.
