Talal Al Kaissi serves as Group Chief Global Affairs Officer at G42 and is a key figure in shaping the global expansion and strategic partnerships of one of UAE’s influential AI and cloud computing companies. His focus is on advancing global relations between the UAE and foreign governments to propagate responsible AI deployment. Additionally, he is the Chief Executive Officer (Interim) at Core42, G42’s digital infrastructure arm responsible for sovereign and AI cloud.

At Core42, Talal is responsible for leading the company's strategy, operations, and growth as a global provider of sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure, and digital services. He oversees the delivery of secure, scalable technology platforms that enable governments, enterprises, and national institutions to accelerate AI adoption and digital transformation. He has played a central role in shaping transformative deals, including a pivotal partnership between G42 and Microsoft, as well as collaborations with Cerebras, Nvidia, Qualcomm, AMD, and others, strengthening G42’s position as a leader in AI and cloud computing.

Previously, Talal served as CEO of G42 Cloud, where he expanded the company’s product offerings and strategic partnerships, establishing it as a national sovereign cloud provider and driving digital transformation across the public sector and regulated industries.

Talal’s expertise spans technology, space, energy, and government sectors. He spent nine years at the UAE Embassy in Washington DC as Senior Advisor for Commercial Affairs and Acting Space Attaché, where he led high-level multinational trade discussions and played a key role in advancing the UAE’s interests in the US. Upon returning to the UAE in 2018, he spearheaded the UAE Space Agency Investment Promotion Strategy before joining G42, where he incubated a space program while also serving as Chief of Staff to the Group CEO before transitioning to lead G42 Cloud.

His extensive experience in AI, cloud computing, and international relations positions him as a key architect of G42’s global growth strategy, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of sovereign AI, digital transformation, and global AI governance.
