Roopal serves as General Counsel at Core42, providing strategic legal advice to the executive leadership and overseeing international M&A, joint ventures, and key strategic initiatives. With over 18 years of experience, including 13 years in the UAE, she is recognized for delivering commercial and pragmatic guidance, enabling business leaders to achieve their objectives effectively.
Prior to her role at Core42, Roopal spent 4.5 years as Deputy General Counsel of G42 and continues to advise the group on strategic matters. Roopal has spent 15 years in private practice with firms such as Gowling WLG and Fieldfisher Waterhouse and has also gained in-house experience at a leading UAE regional bank.
