Ramesh Kunhikannan is the Promoter and Executive Vice Chairman of Kaynes Technology India Limited, one of India's fastest-growing end-to-end Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) companies. An Electrical Engineering graduate from the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, he co-founded Kaynes in 1988 with a vision to establish India as a global hub for advanced electronics manufacturing.

Over the past three decades, he has transformed Kaynes into a publicly listed technology enterprise delivering high-reliability electronic solutions across aerospace & defence, automotive, industrial, medical, railways, EV, IoT, and space sectors. Today, the company operates 16 advanced manufacturing facilities across India and overseas, serving leading global OEMs with integrated design, engineering, manufacturing, and lifecycle support.

Following Kaynes' successful IPO, he launched Kaynes Semicon, establishing India's first integrated semiconductor OSAT facility, marking a significant milestone in the country's semiconductor journey.
