H.E. Mohammed Hmoud Hamad Rahma Alshamsi is a highly accomplished individual with a Master of Science degree in International Relations from University College Dublin in Dublin, a Master of Science degree in Strategic Security Studies from National Defense College in Abu Dhabi, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Suffolk University in Boston.
Ambassador Alshamsi is a well-accomplished diplomat who has made significant strides in his career through a steadfast commitment to professional development. He has held numerous influential positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and various UAE Embassies worldwide. Previously, he served as a Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the UAE Embassy in Ireland and has served in diplomatic posts in both the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Ireland. Additionally, he has acted as Chief of Staff for the Minister of State Office for H.E. Ahmed Al Sayegh and has founded and managed the Security Research & Policy Section at the International Security Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
Since November 2022, he has been serving as the UAE Ambassador to Dublin, Ireland.
