David is seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in strategy, innovation and advisory both in the public and private sector. In addition to his role as Advisor to the Minister, David is the Chief Operating Officer of Investopia, an investment platform aimed at accelerating the growth of the new economy by fostering global dialogue, building partnerships, and connecting investors with the right opportunities
Prior to his current role, David worked at the office of the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market where he focused on strategic projects related to the growth and development of ADGM as a world-class International Financial Centre and as a National Champion in Abu Dhabi’s broader financial sector.
Before ADGM, David served as Advisor in the Strategy and Innovation Department of the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, mainly focusing on strategy development, project delivery, innovation, and the World Government Summit. Prior to that, David worked at Bain & Company focusing mainly on developing strategies for public and private sector organizations in the MENA region, in addition to due diligence work and program management office.
David holds a Masters in Management from ESCP Europe in Paris and a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
