Amy Leong is the Vice President of Finance at TAQA North, a mid-size oil and gas company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), an international integrated utility and energy company. With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, Amy has held numerous leadership roles overseeing financial reporting, treasury, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, risk management, information technology/systems, and supply chain.
She has led major financing transactions, business acquisitions, and large-scale transformation initiatives, and has represented Canadian energy companies in both federal and provincial regulatory proceedings. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Amy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Amy is also deeply committed to community service. She served as Board Chair of the Calgary Food Bank for past eight years and currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, a post-secondary educational institution.
