H.E. Wenhong Tang

H.E. Tang Wenhong, male, born in August 1967, holds an on-the-job postgraduate degree with a Master's in Economics and a Juris Master.

He currently serves as Member of the Party Leadership Group of Beijing Municipal Government.

In September 2014, he was appointed Director-General of the Foreign Investment Administration Department of the Ministry of Commerce.

In December 2019, he became Director-General of the Free Trade Zone and Port Construction Coordination Department of the Ministry of Commerce.

In October 2022, he was appointed Vice Administrator of the China International Development Cooperation Agency and Member of the Party Leadership Group.

In November 2023, he assumed the role of Assistant Minister of Commerce and Member of Party Leadership Group.

In September 2025, he took up the position of a leading official of the Beijing Municipal People's Government.
